Two (2) senior Nigerian Custom officers declared wanted over importation of 661 pump-action guns from China

Following investigations to uncover those behind the importation of 661 pump-action rifles intercepted yesterday in Lagos, the Nigeria Customs Service has declared two of its senior officers wanted.

The wanted officers are Abdullahi, an Assistant Superintendent of Customs (ASC) with service number 44483 and ACIC  Odiba Inah, with service number 133386.

They were declared wanted by the Deputy Comptroller General, Enforcement, Investigation and Inspection, Dan Ugo, who ordered that the two senior officers should be arrested wherever they are seen.

Three (3) suspects, Oscan Okafor (an importer), Mahmud Haruna (a clearing agent) and Sidique Mustapha, were arrested in connection with the firearms importation.
