Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday in Daura, the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina State, said that the current political happenings in Nigeria was a battle between the good and bad elements whose aim was to continue stealing from the nation.
Osinbajo stated this at a campaign rally where he addressed thousands of APC supporters ahead of Saturday’s Katsina North Senatorial District bye-election. He noted that the Buhari’s government will not compromise on the war against corruption.
The Acting President also noted that the nation has achieved through Buhari’s government infrastructural developments like roads, rail lines, agriculture, education, health, security and others, adding that no amount of blackmail will stop the good work.
The bye-election will be held following the death of Mr. Mustafa Bukar, the senator representing Katsina North Senatorial District.
