Dr. Bukola Saraki, the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Primary election, reportedly held a crucial meeting with PDP members of the National Assembly.
According to report, the meeting started around 10:50pm and was on going as of 11:20pm on Friday night.
Although the reason for the meeting is not yet known, but it might be connected to Saturday’s PDP convention,
A lawmaker who spoke to Premium Times noted that nobody knew the details or reason for the meeting as of Friday night.
Saraki is one of the PDP presidential aspirants. Others include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, former Senate President David Mark, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Senator Ahmed Makarfi and others.
