Air Force Personnel who killed his colleague over infidelity

A personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, Kalu B.A, serving at the Makurdi Base in the early hours of yesterday reportedly shot dead his girlfriend, Solape Oladipupo, who was also a colleague for allegedly having an affair with another man in the Base.

According to report, the incident occurred around 6am after he closed from duty and went straight to the official residence of his girlfriend, only to find her in bed with a civilian male friend.

The man got angry and pulled out his gun and shot his girlfriend before the civilian male narrowly escaped as he attempted to shoot him too.

An eyewitness told Vanguard that; “It was at that point that the civilian shouted for help, which drew the attention of neighbours, who called in the Quarter Guard that arrested the Aircraft Man.”

According to the Public Relations Officer at the Command, Wing Commander Emmanuel Iheoma, he noted that the killed could have been as a result of a soured relationship.

“An Air Force man was at 6.06a.m. this morning (Sunday) arrested and detained at the Air Force Provost Squadron.

“When the incident happened, the Air force Woman was rushed to NAF Base Hospital and later referred to the Benue State University Teaching Hospital in Makurdi, where she died.

“Investigation into the matter is ongoing to ascertain what really happened and the media will be informed accordingly.”

According to Kalu, he said that; “I’m a guy who pulled two rounds in a witch and one round in my fucking body. For it is said that he who kills by the sword shall die by it. Most idiots will insult me… if they were to be in my shoes they would even put more than three rounds on the witch.”
