1. Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, the recently sacked factional Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), visited Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Sheriff had a closed-door meeting with Osinbajo and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Oyegun, reportedly joined.

2. Following the claim by Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, that the British Government was frustrating the closure of Biafra Radio, and that the Financial Headquarters of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is France, the two countries has separately denied been contacted by Nigeria over IPOB.

3. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), says that it would no longer tolerate illegal admissions.

4. The Nigerian Customs Services says that Nigerian syndicate in Turkey was behind importation of arms. The Customs has intercepted loads of guns shipped from Turkey into Nigeria within a year. the third interception was last month.
