1. The All Progressives Congress (APC) says that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other parties re-alignment against it ahead of 2019 general elections will end in futility.

2. The Chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, says confidently that Africa would become the world’s food basket soon.

3. Ahead of the forthcoming November 18 Anambra State Governorship Election, the state chapter of the Ohaneze Ndigbo has expressed optimism over a credible and hitch-free election, adding that the group would hold INEC responsible for flaws. “INEC must live up to expectation in making sure that the election is credible, one man one vote. If there is any problem with the election, not just Anambra, but the entire South East would hold INEC responsible. We don’t want falsification of results, we cannot tolerate it,” Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, Anambra state President of Ohaneze Ndigbo.

4. North-East Stakeholders apparently under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who are campaigning for the presidential bid of Ex-Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, will reportedly meet to discuss on how to push their plans forward. The meeting is expected to hold in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.
