Ex-President Jonathan said that the new book ‘Against the Run of Play’ contains many distorted claims on the 2015 Presidential election

Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has responded to the recent revealations in the new book ‘Against the Run of Play’, written by the Chairman of Thisday Newspaper Editors Board, Segun Adeniyi, on how an incumbent president lost an election.

The book revealed that Jonathan expressed disappointment on how the Former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega, conducted the election.

According to the book, Jonathan allegedly said that about 40% of Nigerians did not vote and that the former United States President Barack Obama wanted him out of office.
