The leadership of the House of Representatives, as a response to Hon. Abdulmumuni Jibrin’s recent allegation of sharing N10billion among themselves said that, a psychiatric tests should be conducted on the former Chairman of the House Appropriation Committee, to be sure he is not suffering from mental health issues.
We published a post titled “How Dogara, Gbajabiamila and other senior lawmakers shared N10billion – Jibrin” where we stated Mr. Jibrin’s recent accusations on the leadership of the House including Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, of sharing N10billion among themselves, with details of how much everyone received.
Apart from Gbajabiamila, who is the House Leader, others are; the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara; Deputy Speaker, Yussuff Lasun; Chief Whip, Alhassan Ado-Doguwa; Deputy Leader, Buba Jibril; Deputy Whip, Pally Iriase; Minority Leader, Mr. Leo Ogor ;Deputy Minority Leader, Chukwuka Onyeama; Minority Whip, Yakubu Barde; and Deputy Minority Whip, Binta Bello-Maigeri.
According to the leadership in the House, they stated that Jibrin’s sudden change from his focus on budget padding to N10billion allegedly siphoned might be an indication that he needed medical attention.
Mr. Ogor, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Minority Leader in the House, said that, Mr. Jibrin must be sick in his head, noting that he needed a test to be conducted urgently to ascertain he is not sick and to stop him from spreading lies;
“His case is fast getting out of hands. Honestly, he needs help to stop peddling lies and to deliberately rubbish the names of his colleagues and the institution of the National Assembly.
“I have seen that this man has an issue with his head and he should see a psychiatrist. Tests should be conducted on him urgently. I don’t know what he stands to gain by peddling lies against his colleagues.”
