In a telephone interview yesterday, between Premium Times and Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president noted that the federal lawmakers abandons their jobs and hijacks jobs that are meant for the executive arm of government in the name on constituency projects.

Ex-President Obasanjo who was with President Buhari that same yesterday, urged Mr. President to ensure he does not release funds meant for constituency projects to federal lawmakers.

Obasanjo who had earlier alleged that there were thieves in the National Assembly, noted that the current problem between Yakubu Dogara and Abdulmumin Jibrin has vindicated him.

“Shehu of Bama’s wife, daughter return from 2 yrs Boko Haram captivity”

The wife and daughter of Shehu of Bama, Alhaji Kyari Ibrahim Elkanemi, who were abducted by the Boko Haram terrorist group two (2) years ago have been rescued.

Queen Hajju and her daughter who were abducted in 2014 along with her two (2) children during a deadly attack in Bama town were around 1:30pm yesterday brought to Shehu Bama in Maiduguri by the General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Brig. Gen. Victor Ezugwu.

Top dignitaries who were present at the resident of Shehu Bama to receive the queen and her daughter include; the wife of the governor of Borno State, Hajiya Nana Shettima; Borno State Deputy Governor Usman Durkwa and some other top government officials.

Unfortunately, her son was killed by the evil terrorist group.

“Any corrupt APC member will face trial – Buhari”

President Buhari during a recent interview with The Interview Magazine reaffirmed his commitment to fight against corruption in the nation.

He denied claims that he is being one-sided in his war against corruption.

“If any of my backers or party (APC) members has anything established against them, let’s see whether I will shield anyone from prosecution. He said

Mr. President noted that even if those who were responsible for his ascension into office as President of Nigeria is accused, he will not shield them.

“You can be assured that anybody caught in corruption will answer for it irrespective of party, tribe or religion.” He insists.
