Alhaji Sule Lamido, a former Governor of Jigawa State and a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), yesterday in Calabar, the capital of Crossriver State, said that Nigeria has been hijacked and being ruled by men who lack ideas.
According to Lamido, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was only implementing PDP’s plans.
Lamido also noted that the PDP was accused of spending N6trillion on some national projects in 16 years, but the APC had already wasted over N20trillion in 3 years and yet had nothing to show.
The former governor stated this during a consultative visit to Governor Ben Ayade over his 2019 presidential ambition.
Consequently, he expressed wonders why members of the PDP were being labeled corrupt by the APC.
Regarding insecurity, Lamido said that killings were no more strange, but rather the question now is “how many have been killed today?”
