Nigeria Police arrests 17 suspects involved in Southern Kaduna killings

In a recent statement by the spokesman of the Nigeria Police, Jimoh Moshood, 17 suspects involved in the recent killings in Southern Kaduna in Kaduna State have been arrested.

The unfortunate incident in Southern Kaduna which occurred last year December is the most recent ethnic/religious crisis in the country that allegedly led to the death of about 800 persons.

The problem is between Fulani herdsmen and farmers in these communities where the killings occurred.

The 17 suspects were paraded before journalists in Abuja yesterday.

He also added that 29 assorted firearms were recovered from the suspects.

After investigations is completed, the 17 suspects would be charged to court for inciting public disturbance, disturbance of public peace, causing mischief by fire, culpable homicide, theft and unlawful possession of prohibited fire arms.

9.) Hassan Idris

11.) Suleiman Saleh

12.) Adamu Umar

13.) Abubakar Muhammadu

14.) Muhammadu Jori

15.)Nelson Paul

16.) Bulus Jatau

17.) Danjuma Barde
