1. Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, has urged Nigerians to disregard the news purportedly saying that President Muhammadu Buhari would travel to the United States of America. According to him, the news is fake.

2. The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, says that he can ignore anyone who slaps him or does anything wrong to him, but however, whoever touches his wife, he will kill.

3. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo while speaking in Abuja on Sunday at the Presidential Sallah lunch, expressed regret on the ongoing debate of division in the country, but however expressed confidence that the noise is just the pang of birth of a greater Nigeria. “Despite all the noise that we hear, all that noise is part of the building. Everybody knows that you cannot have birth without noise. No woman delivers a baby without some noise and without some pains. “What we are hearing today are the ‎noises and the pains of that great nation that God is about to give birth to.”

4. Hector Joberteh, the winner of 2006 Gulder Ultimate Search, was reportedly shot dead in Lagos by unknown gunmen. The gunmen reportedly gain entranced into his compound and asked where Hector was, upon sighting him, they opened fire.
