Mr. Okoi Obono-Obla, the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Prosecution, said that a list of 200 individuals who allegedly looted public funds and properties would be published soon.
He stated this on Thursday during the launch of a software application for the tracking of illicit properties by the African Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ), a Civil Society Organisation.
The software would be used to map and share details of property owners in specific areas in Abuja.
The report further stated that the owners of suspected public properties would be asked to relinquish the said properties or explain how they obtained it.
“Let them tell us where they got the money to build these massive properties. If they cannot explain, let them quietly return it to Nigerians,” Mr. Obono-Obla reportedly said.
