1. Mr. Ibrahim Idris, the Inspector General of Police, who was accused of N120billion bribery by Senator Isah Misau, the Chairman Senate Committee on Navy, ask court to stop Senate President Bukola Saraki and the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from investigating him.
2. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo vehemently denies approving $25billion NNPC Contract. In a statement, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had stated that Mr. Osinbajo, who was the Acting President while President Muhammadu Buhari was on sick leave approved the award of the contracts. The vice president however said he approved NNPC loans, but not contracts.
3. Mrs. Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, said that she spent N3.5billion on sick children and adults through her foundation Aruera Reachout Foundation. Mrs. Jonathan said that her foundation was established in 2006.
4. Mr. Jim Yong Kim, the President of World Bank, at a press conference in Washington DC, United States, alleges that President Muhammadu Buhari told them to focus on the northern region of Nigeria only.
