1. The brother of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in an interview regarding the recent clash between the members of IPOB and the Nigerian Army said that everything was only making IPOB stronger and that the group would never stop agitating for the independent state of Biafra.

2. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship: Chief Bode George; Prof. Tunde Adeniran, a former Minister of Education; reject consensus candidate, says that everyone interested in PDP Chairmanship position must be ready to test his popularity at the convention.

3. Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, the Chief of Air Staff, on Saturday, at a lecture delivered to the Senior Course 40 at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Jaji, Kaduna State, said that the Nigerian Air Force is expecting new fighter aircraft from about four countries (Russia, USA, Pakistan and the UAE) to boost its capabilities.

4. Prophet Samuel Abiara, the immediate past General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church, says that corruption in Nigeria will not end until Jesus Christ comes.

5. Mr. Adebayo Shittu, the Minister of Communications, at the Digital  Government Conference organized in Abuja by Microsoft said that Nigerian must participate in the deployment of information and communication technology to tackle contemporary economic challenges.
