1. Jubilation on Tuesday as 93 year old President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe resigns after 37 years in power following moves by the military and his political allies to end his rule. His former Vice-President, Emmerson Mnangagwa, will be sworn in as president.

2. Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) were involved in a clash on Tuesday as the EFCC attempted to arrest the immediate part Director General of the DSS, Ekpenyong Ita. According to report, the DSS deliberately refused to hand over its Ex-DG to the EFCC to explain his alleged role in the arms deal scandal involving former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd).

3. Former Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George, allegedly asks the Chairman of the PDP National Caretaker Committee, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, to resign ahead of the party’s convention in December.

4. Chief Victor Oye, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in his reaction to insinuations that the APC had deliberately returned Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State to power, said that Obiano will not defect to the All Progressives Congress.
