United Kingdom reportedly informs Nigeria of plans to issue temporary travel document to Nnamdi Kanu

The United Kingdom has reportedly informed the Federal Government of Nigeria of plans to issue a temporary travel document to Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB.

According to report, an undisclosed top government official disclosed this development to reporters on Tuesday.

The undisclosed source also noted that the UK government also informed Nigeria that the British authorities have the best intentions towards Nigeria.

Mr. Kanu has dual citizenship of Nigerian and Britain.

“The British authorities have briefed the Nigerian government about the temporary travel documents they are about to issue to Nnamdi Kanu, who holds a Nigeria-UK dual citizenship.

“It shows that they have the best intentions towards the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the source said (as seen on Punch).
