1. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday, at a plenary of the 2017 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) National Conference held in Lagos, said that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration spent N1.3trillion on capital projects in 2016. He noted that it is the highest in the history of Nigeria.

2. Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, the founder of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), and the Leader of Biafra Independence Movement (BIM), has dismissed President Muhammadu Buhari’s position on Nigeria’s unity in Mr. President’s Monday broadcast.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Abia State Chapter has expressed happiness on President Muhammadu Buhari’s return from London, United Kingdom, where he had been for over 103 days on medical leave. Chief Don Ubani, the party’s state Publicity Secretary, told newsmen that the party feels happy that Buhari is back. “Our party feels happy that our president is back from his medical trip abroad,” Ubani said.

4. Nigeria’s Presidency explains why President Muhamadu Buhari who just returned back home from London, United Kingdom, after spending over 103 days on medical leave is working from home. According to the presidency, some renovations are ongoing at the President’s office, but he has a fully equipped office at his residence where he’ll work from. “Some renovations are ongoing at the office, his fully equipped office in his residence. He will be back to the main office after the works,” Bashir Ahmad, Mr. President’s Personal Assistant on New Media stated via twitter.
