A 32 year old man identified as Olayinka Abass Akeem, who was arrested with 7 fresh human skulls by the Kwara State police command said that the desperation to become rich led him into rituals.

Akeem who confessed that he is a ritualist, was apprehended by police operatives along Ajase-Ipo road, in Kwara State, he added that he exhumed the skulls from a cemetery for money rituals.

According to report, Akeem had been trailed from a muslim cementary in Igbo-Owu, around Ajase-Ipo where he had gone to exhume the skulls, following report by passerby who saw him.

He was eventually arrested by the police in a vehicle he boarded to meet a friend he identified as Tunde (aka Bante), who was suppose to deliver the skulls to a herbalist for money ritual.

The 32 year old ritualist said that he was desperate to be rich because he came from a poor family.

“I came from a very poor family. At 32, I am still poor because I am unemployed. To feed myself and my parents has been very difficult for us. That was my situation when recently I ran into an old friend,Tunde, who convinced me that money ritual was the surest way to be rich”, He said (As seen on Vanguard).

Speaking about how he felt when he was exhuming the human skulls from the graves, he noted that he didn’t feel scared, sorry or bad.

“I didn’t feel anyhow. The desperation to become rich was all over me since I thought that was the only thing i needed to do to become rich”

He urged the police to hand him over to God for divine punishment, adding that he would do same if anyone exhumed the corpse of his parents for ritual purpose.
